Worst roommate ever....

I got a new roommate this week, I am going to disguise his name for anonymity let's call him "Troy".  First off Troy likes to go to bed at 8:00 P.M, i'm not opposed to an early night but come on, 8 o'clock really?  The first night he moved in I did my best to tip toe around the room so that I wouldn't wake him up, also I watched TV with headphones on, i'm a nice roommate.  He then proceeded to wake up 6 am on a Sunday morning I might add, and bang around the room, waking me up and being very unpolite. The next night, Troy managed to snore, whimper, and talk in his sleep, so even though he went to bed as the sun was just going down, he managed to ruin my night from 8-2am.
Troy has a long list of bad habits, and the fact that he is in his 40's makes me think that he is too old to want to change his ways.  Since I don't think that I will be getting a new roommate anytime soon, look forward to more posts about Troy and his bad habits.

    wow 8 pm? doesnt sound like such a bad habit but being woken at 6am would make me stab someone

    Sounds terrible, like a bad college roommate, only an older guy. Good luck, maybe confronting him about it might help.

    You'll probably have to tell him sooner or later. There's nothing normal about going to sleep that early.

    Troy sounds like a terrible roommate. Perhaps you ought to tell him how you feel about his annoying habits, and try to resolve things without a wooden horse filled with ampethamines and anti-snoring devices.

    Tell him while it's early, the longer you wait the more likely it is that you'll kill him in his sleep....at 8pm.
